I have had the honour of playing 'feudal chess'and it is a very challenging variation to traditional chess. Feudal chess requires a high level of strategic planning, especially so when opponents select different configurations. I have played many of the configurations of feudal chess all of which provide a competitive result. Although Some of the pieces are extremely powerful, they can be contained by less powerful pieces in cleverly devised configurations. An impressive and enjoyable game which has been very cleverly constructed and worthy of the adventurous chess player.
