I did have a reason when I made it. I just don't remember what it was, now, and I'm hoping to be able to find out what it was (a bit of searching today, perhaps, unless someone pops up with an answer).
Edit: I found it -- it was in the Generic Chess Piece Creation System, which doesn't really give a source for this name with this move but I'm going with it anyway.
I probably will create and post a Shogi Pawn as a separate item.
