There is nothing offensive in the remark that the Pasha moves like a Mastodon. In the linked description of Paulovits's game I then link to the Mastodon where one can see how it moves in a diagram. In the Zillions program I also use a Mastodon image to represent the Pasha. So this is why I connect it with the Mastodon, which is a very interesting piece, capable of creating very special king attacks. It seems to have become a standard to use animal names for hopping pieces.
