It is interesting to see whether we meant the same thing by '120° Crooked' and it seems that we don't! My usage refers to how far they turn between directions, rather than the angle spanned by the two steps. Thus an angle more than 90° indicates a piece turning back on itself. This usage stems from describing the turns of Curved pieces, so that the full set of turns (four 37° and four 53° turns in the Rose's case) adds up to 360°. To be fair I can see the logic both ways.
