I recommend that this poll be held only 8 times per year, avoiding those 4 months when we are running a Poll for New Recognized Variant. Some of the (already) Recognized Variants will never be RV of the Month, so there is no 'backlog' to worry about. Also, perhaps we could put the voting list in reverse alphabetical order for even numbered months: February, April, etc. I suspect that Wildebeest Chess (a fine game) has been overlooked while it lurks at the bottom of the list.
