My mistake, while thinking about the circular movement, I completely forgot that it makes Alfil and Dabbabah moves. The Halfling Rose was defined to make 1 to 4 Knight-leaps, regardless of its position on the board. My only quibble is that as a Bishop analogue the 'circular Alibaba' is bound to too little of the board. It occurs to me that a 'circular Waffle' for Rook and a 'circular Fezbaba' for Bishop might work better. That way the pieces would have similar ranges and the original bindings.
