Can the Scorpion make a double move Scorpion-style ?

Like the pawn on b2 having the options b2-b4 (standard), b2-d4 (one
standard one oblique), b2-f4 (two oblique). Is it possible ?

No, it's exactly the same as a pawn, except for the the two additional knight leaps, which cannot be used for capture. No initial double-step oblique move. I don't know how useful the Scorpion is, except that it seems to work. /Mats

Mats, I will tell you that the Scorpion is at least interesting enough for me to want to print my own and use it in a couple of games (which I haven't posted yet).

I'm calling it the Scorpion Pawn, since it'll be in the line with other Pawns (regular and others), but it's basically this piece.
