Akenhead's Chess
Keys "s"=save "l"=load "b"=back once
Akenhead, 1947. To capture, the cannons must leap one unit of either color, then land any number of squares beyond. Knights move one square orthogonally, then one diagonally, without leaping. Pawns are Berolina pawns, moving diagonally and capturing straight ahead.
Lion Chess is closely related.
These are simple illustrations rather than strong opponents.
