It is not said if there are drops, but it makes sense an affirmative answer, pieces are not very powerful, so the effect should be more or less as in Shogi, although it can be tested to confirm.

I agree; this game is interesting.  I would like to see a ZRF; the question
is what graphics to use for the pieces.
