Since Java is no longer supported in most browsers, our Java applets probably will not run unless you install an extension that will run them. If your browser still does support Java, and you're not using this extension, make sure this site is listed in your Java exceptions list. Solomon W Golomb, 1948. The most popular cross between chess and checkers. Pawns and kings move and capture as in checkers. The bishop and knight (camel) capture as in chess. The knight (camel) is a 3,1 leaper. If a checkers capture is available, a capture must be made. Win by capturing all opposing kings or rendering the opponent unable to move.
