Since Java is no longer supported in most browsers, our Java applets probably will not run unless you install an extension that will run them. We recommend installing the CheerpJ Applet Runner extension on Edge, Chrome, or another Chromium browser. If your browser still does support Java, and you're not using this extension, make sure this site is listed in your Java exceptions list. Chaturanga-For-Four (Modern Version)

This is the simplest and maybe best version of the very old four-handed game.

Your side wins by capturing both enemy kings.

I decided that partners do not check each other, and that you cannot move into check. I thought that if you cannot move, you pass your turn.

Bishops are 2,2 leapers.
