Wikingerschach

In 1973, games publisher Steidl-Verlag from Göttinger, Germany, published a series of five games, including a game called Wikingerschach. In 1974, the rights went to another publisher, called Verlag Bert Schlender from the same city, and later, the rights went to Verlag Hornauer from Frankfurt; probably in 1978, the production of the game series was stopped.

The name means: Viking Chess.

Below you see a photo of the game, which is made of wood.
