Spire orth triangular xiang-qi

I'v already made one triangular xiang-qi variant. But this new variant is probably better: it's much closer to usual xiang-qi and somewhat more logical.

Setup

G - general;
A - advisor;
E - elephant;
H - horse;
R - chariot (rook);
C - cannon;
P - pawn.

"]"-symbol marks palace cells, where advisors can move (palace borders' length is 3 cells, it have total 9 triangles in it).
"~"-symbol marks river.

Pieces

Chariot moves as spire in Delta88. On diagrams "*"-symbols marks possible destination triangles. /\ /]*\ ---- /\ */\ /] \/] \ -------- /\ /\ /\ /] \/]*\/] \ ------------ /\ /\ */\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \ ---------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ \/ \ -------------------- /\ /\ /\ */\ /\ /\ / *\/ \/ \/ \/ \/ *\ ------------------------ /\ /\ */\ /\ /\ */\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ *\/ *\/ \/ \ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \ /\ /\ /\ R/\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ *\/ *\/ \/ \/ ------------------------ \ /\ */\ /\ /\ */\ / \/ *\/ \/ *\/ \/ *\/ -------------------- \ /\ /\ */\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ---------------- \ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ \/ ------------ \] /\]*/\] / \/ \/ \/ -------- \] /\] / \/ *\/ ---- \]*/ \/ General steps one cell in these directions. May not leave palace. May not face opponent's general on rook lines ("rook lines" are moves of chariot of THIS game!). /\ /] \ ---- /\ /\ /] \/] \ -------- /\ /\ /\ /] \/] \/] \ ------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \ ---------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \ -------------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \ ------------------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------------------ \ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ -------------------- \ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ---------------- \ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------ \] /\]*/\] / \/ \/ \/ -------- \]*/\]*/ \/ G\/ ---- \]*/ \/ Advisor steps to other adjecent cells ("diagonally"). May not leave palace. Thus, bound to 5 cells. /\ /] \ ---- /\ /\ /] \/] \ -------- /\ /\ /\ /] \/] \/] \ ------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \ ---------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \ -------------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \ ------------------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------------------ \ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ -------------------- \ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ---------------- \ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------ \]*/\]*/\] / \/ \/ \/ -------- \]A/\]*/ \/ \/ ---- \]*/ \/ Elephant makes exactly 2 advisor steps in same direction, may not jump. On diagrams "!"-symbol marks passed cells, they must be empty. May not cross river, thus bound to 10 cells. /\ /] \ ---- /\ /\ /] \/] \ -------- /\ /\ /\ /] \/] \/] \ ------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \ ---------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \ -------------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \ ------------------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \ /\ /\ */\ /\ */\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------------------ \ /\ /\ !/\ !/\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ -------------------- \ */\ !/\ E/\! /\ */ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ---------------- \ /\ !/\! /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------ \]*/\] /\]*/ \/ \/ \/ -------- \] /\] / \/ \/ ---- \] / \/ Cannon moves without capturing as rook, blah blah blah... If you are familar with original xiang-qi, you know, how it moves. Knight steps 1 in rook direction to empty cell, when must make 1 diagonal step in one of 2 further directions. It can reach 12 different cells. /\ /] \ ---- /\ /\ /] \/] \ -------- /\ /\ /\ /] \/] \/] \ ------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \ ---------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \ -------------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ *\/ *\/ *\/ *\/ \ ------------------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ *\/ !\/ !\/ !\/ *\/ \ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \ /\ /\ /\ H/\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ !\/ !\/ *\/ \/ ------------------------ \ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ !\/ *\/ \/ -------------------- \ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ *\/ \/ ---------------- \ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------ \] /\] /\] / \/ \/ \/ -------- \] /\] / \/ \/ ---- \] / \/ Pawn steps 1 in forwardmost rook direction, after crossing river can step 1 sideways. Note that it sticks in corner, can't move further here and don't promote. Optional rule: when pawn gets stuck, it promotes to chariot, cannon or horse (it happens very rarely). Here are four examples of movement: on differently oriented triangles before and after crossing river. /\ /] \ ---- /\ /\ /] \/] \ -------- /\ /\ /\ /] \/] \/] \ ------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ \ ---------------- /\ /\ /\ P/\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ *\/ \ -------------------- /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \ ------------------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ *\/ \/ \/ \/ \ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \ /\ /\ P/\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------------------ \ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ -------------------- \ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ---------------- \ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------ \] /\] /\] / \/ \/ \/ -------- \] /\] / \/ \/ ---- \] / \/ /\ /] \ ---- /\ /\ /] \/] \ -------- /\ /\ /\ /] \/] \/] \ ------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \ ---------------- /\ /\ /\ */\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \ -------------------- /\ /\ /\ */\ */\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ P\/ \/ \ ------------------------ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \ /\ /\ */\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------------------ \ /\ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ P\/ \/ \/ \/ -------------------- \ /\ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ ---------------- \ /\ /\ /\ / \/ \/ \/ \/ ------------ \] /\] /\] / \/ \/ \/ -------- \] /\] / \/ \/ ---- \] / \/
