I have let the Game Courier preset of this game remain unprogrammed for years, because it is such a complicated game. I have just finished programming a version that seems to be working, and I am now ready to beta-test it with an actual game. In this game, pieces capture and check by borrowing the capturing powers of neighboring pieces. It also involves dropping captured pieces, as in Shogi. If you're interested in helping me beta-test this, here is the game log: fergus-cvgameroom-2013-92-162.
