The Scorpion King seems to be a very powerful piece - having to guard not only the normal king's field but also but also any grasshopper flights will surely make mate difficult to achieve.
In Finland we've been playing with Grasshopper Kings (only grasshopper powers) with a lot of success. With the king being so weak it's possible that there is some kind of forced win straight from the opening, but it hasn't emerged yet.
