Anonymous wrote on 2005-11-29 UTCExcellent ★★★★★If the prisioner could capture, then he would be unstopable. After all, this is a Convict who's weapons have been conficated, so he should act like one. Robert Potter wrote on 2005-11-28 UTCGood ★★★★It's okay, but I would change only one thing...the prisoner should be allowed to capture. Hey, he's a convict, he should start acting like it! Peter Aronson wrote on 2004-05-15 UTCDavid,
In this case, I was inspired by one of the versions of Karl Schultz' Hunter-Falcon Chess that an extra cell on either end of the e-file where the Kings start, and can only be entered by the Kings. We do not currently have a page for this game (Ed has an applet for what he calls Falcon-Hunter Chess, but it is a different version of the game). I haven't seen that many other games which are designed on a standard board with an extra square behind the center square of the first and last row except for these two examples I just sited. If you can think of any other games like this please let me know because I would like to see them. Your board reminds me of these variants which I created.... other than that I will have to playtest your game first before offering other comments. 6 comments displayedLater ⇩Reverse Order⇧ EarlierPermalink to the exact comments currently displayed.
