Also, Merridonia appears to be a fictional place, and Merridonian copyright ...

Yes, this is (partly) what I meant by legal mumbo-jumbo.  I wasn't just being flippant.  There are also other issues with the language that purports to be legal declaration, but I didn't bother to go into detail as the page already doesn't belong for other reasons.

I have hidden this page for not being focused on a Chess variant. The author may revise it or delete it. I would suggest deleting it and making new pages for any Chess variants it describes.

Also, Merridonia appears to be a fictional place, and Merridonian copyright, whatever force that is supposed to have, is attributed to someone other than the author of this page. Since Merridonia doesn't exist, I also wonder if the person this page is allegedly copyrighted to exists. Copyright should be claimed only for real people according to the rules of real countries. Pretend copyright for a fictional character in a fictional location can be very confusing for readers. Also, content on this site is subject to editorial revision, and if copyright is set up to interfere with that, this is problematic.

I agree with Fergus, and would also add that the legal mumbo-jumbo at the very beginning is problematic.  We would most certainly not agree to this so this content should be removed for this reason alone.

I have not read this page, but I will say that describing a set of games with linking stories is not an appropriate use of a game page. In general, each game page should describe a single Chess variant, though it may sometimes describe variations on the same variant or mention related games. This page seems to be describing card games alongside the description of maybe one Chess variant. Without reading it, which I do not plan to do, it is hard to get a clear fix on what this page is describing. It is much too long and seems to include lots of information that is not related to any Chess variant.
