Right - both pieces capture only on their destination square - Capture by replacemnent.

Nice: So the Octopus is a Hippogriff cousin, and the sorcerer snake a sliding zebra/knight compound. By the way, the pieces (snakes) can't capture in middlepath, right? Only in the arrival square.
