What is the deadline for registering / submitting a variant?

There is no deadline. Just the first five to enter.

For those concerned about the pieces in the Xiang Hex preset, you can
freely modify which ones are displayed just for you by selecting what you
want under the piece set. For instance, if you don't understand the
Chinese pieces, you can use the Alfaerie set with either rooks or chariots.
Just select your piece set and hit submit/verify (I forget which) without
sending a move and it will change the board. No reason to restart the
round.

Attack, I don't understand... I wrote that want to play Western pieces
preset and sent you this preset. It's my choice and my right. Please send
new invites for Round two and delete these.
