I tried on Thursday to submit a new page for an original game, Trampoline
Chess, but the game hasn't appeared yet and I haven't heard anything
about it. Can any of the editors tell me whether the submission is in their
in-box, or whether I did it incorrectly?

David Howe wrote on Sun, Dec 6, 2009 07:23 PM UTC:
Sorry about that. All new submissions should be up on the What's New page
now...

Actually, I submitted one a few days ago, as well. It was just a bunch of
presets, but they haven't been posted yet. Do you do that, or is that
someone else? Thanks!

:)

You found another bug in my code. Doesn't handle # properly. Anyway, I
fixed your submission and it is now up! Sorry about that!

Nicholas Wolff wrote on Wed, Dec 9, 2009 11:44 AM UTC:
No problem :) Thanks!

Are you still having a problem with the # sign? I tried to change it a
while ago and the change is still not affected. Thanks!

David Howe wrote on Fri, Dec 11, 2009 01:27 PM UTC:
What were you trying to change? I made some test changes to your 12# Chess
page at:

http://www.chessvariants.org/index/msdisplay.php?itemid=MP12chess

I was able to edit the contents with no problem.

Nicholas Wolff wrote on Fri, Dec 11, 2009 11:37 PM UTC:
I tried to change the index information, so that the name '12# Chess'
matched the actual variant name '12 Sharp Chess'. Was I doing it right,
there?

Thanks David!

Hey David!

My computer may have some problem with the presets or something. I
submitted another variant about a week ago (?) entitled 123456 Chess. Am I
doing the process incorrectly or is it the name or what? Please let me
know if I need to resubmit it. Thanks!

Best and happy holidays!
Nick

My questions are:

1. CONTRIBUTOR ID
How do I get a contributor ID. I am not clear. Is is a necessary
prerequisite or is it assigned when I send in a variation that is
accepted?

2. WHERE TO SUBMIT
When I submit a variant do I zip it up and email it to [email protected]
or do I submit it through your web page that requires a contributor ID?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi, Steve. I listed you as a contributor. To post your own game go to the
Index Page: http://www.chessvariants.org/Gindex.html
Under the word 'Index', you will see 'Post your own game'
Click on that and follow the instructions.

If you have any questions or problems, email me. [Click on my name at left
to get e-add.]

Thanks Joe! - As soon as my final proof reading is in I will submit my
variation.

Where can I submit a variant html page with its related graphics all in a
single zip file?

Steven Streetman wrote on Fri, Oct 29, 2010 05:58 PM UTC:
Ah, looks like the place to submit is [email protected]. I will give that
a try.
