There is no bishop in Wellisch chess, but this piece is actually not bishop, rather another kind of rook. Shenshuai: sorry that i answered this comment only after a few years :). What is this 'ninja-pirate war'? Maybe, ninjas are shogi-like pieces? Or, even more interesting variant: board have many non-game spaces (sea). Most of pirate pieces cannot cross 'water', but they can control 'ships', and most of ninja pieces are leapers and they can jump over sea. Shenshuai wrote on 2006-03-14 UTCExcellent ★★★★★I wonder if anyone has created a version of this game that has to do with the ongoing ninja-pirate war. In any case, this game would not be able to be solved using conventional game theory. I might just have to refer to the books if i want to play using game theory! On other issues, nice game, I enjoyed it (or maybe it was because I was the only player who actually had a working grasp of chess)! Can someone please make a game that honors the ninja vs pirate war? pleasepleaseplease! 2 comments displayedLater ⇩Reverse Order⇧ EarlierPermalink to the exact comments currently displayed.
