your frog is an example of an amphibian which is a compound of two pieces which has more range than it's components. another example would be the governor a compound of of the raumschach unicorn and bishop. even another would be the silver general a compound of japanese pawn or as you call it, the point and ferz. maybe you should make an article on amphibians!
