Greg Strong wrote on 2020-09-25 UTCI also added a GIF version it to the regular Alfaerie directory. Just use "zebrabishop" as the filename. Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-25 UTC@HG I cannot use the image saved by Greg as it is only in the allfaeriePNG. It seems that the interactive diagrams don't work with files here, as I have tried to change the directory. BTW Have you understood the earlier situation where the shuffling of pieces in now also non-symmetrical? Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-25 UTCNo matter. I had found it! Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-25 UTCWhere in the site is the picture in question? Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-25 UTCCheers! Greg Strong wrote on 2020-09-25 UTCDone Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-25 UTCI wanted to add it to the apothecary chess standard piece set. The zebra is not used in any currently playing games but it is used in a preset. I have deleted the used Z,z temporarilly. Greg Strong wrote on 2020-09-24 UTCI have uploaded and added it to the Alfaerie: Many set as ".BZ" and ".bz" Regarding your request to add it instead of the plain zebra picture at Z, which piece set? I cannot edit a piece set that is already using the Z in other games or their zebras would turn into bishop-zebras. H. G. Muller wrote on 2020-09-24 UTCUse the scalable-graphics editor: Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-24 UTCIf someone with editing picture skills sees this, please make an zebra-bishop picture and add it instead of the plane zebra picture at z. Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-22 UTCInteresting analysis, thanks Fergus! Fergus Duniho wrote on 2020-09-22 UTC I was thinking about calling it Shaman because of the mostly African nature of zebra and the religious nature of the bishop. While the name Shaman has the advantage of being easily recognizable and understood, it is a generic term and not at all exclusive to Africa. Witch doctor is not as general and may be used for African shamans. I learned from the Wikipedia article on Witch doctor that the term Sangoma is used in southern Africa. I also checked where zebras are in Africa, and it is mostly in southern Africa. Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-22 UTCAlso I see no picture for bishop-zebra in allfairy many. Can someone make one and add it to the apothecary piece set instead of the lone zebra (letters Z&z)? Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-22 UTCI was thinking about calling it Shaman because of the mostly African nature of zebra and the religious nature of the bishop. Aurelian Florea wrote on 2020-09-21 UTCIs there a consecrated name for such a piece? 16 comments displayedLater ⇩Reverse Order⇧ EarlierPermalink to the exact comments currently displayed.
