There was a problem with the host last night, and I had to reboot the server this morning.

While the adjustments I make to Game Courier's time controls for downtimes were working with sent moves, they were not working with the clock. I added code to fix that, and I made another adjustment to the clock for lost time while the site was down last night. This will not affect the time left displayed on the logs page, but that page no longer takes action to mark a game as lost on time. That has to be handled by Game Courier itself. So, when you move in a timed game whose last move was before last night, the time controls on the clock should be giving you 12 hours more than what the logs page says.

The site was down almost all day, thanks to problems with the host. I used some of my spare time to look into cloud-based web hosting. While more expensive than my SSD-based VPS, cloud hosting would be more reliable. For the present, this site has a single point of failure, and whenever there is a problem with the single machine this website is on, it goes down. Now that it's back up, I adjusted the time controls for Game Courier to discount 23 hours off the time used for moves during this period.
