Continuing my comment on [2007-10-01], here is another little problem.
1... b2xc1=B Note that a Rook or a Queen would stalemate White.
2. K a2-b1, K a4-b3
3. a3-a4, B c1-b2 Without the White Pawn, this would be stalemate.
4. a4-a5, N d3-e5
5. a5-a6, N e5-f3
6. a6-a7, N f3-d2 checkmate.
Underpromotion to a Knight looks like an equally fast mate. This position may be of some interest to Shatranj players who like to win by checkmate, as the same sequence of moves works (substituting Ferz for Bishop).
