The problem wasn't the footer. It was that I had copied the slugify function to asciify.php, which slugify.php was including while also having the slugify function in it. I changed the logs page and Game Courier to include asciify.php instead of slugify.php, and that fixed it.

That should have been $commentid. Let's try this again.
I also had to make sure I used $commentid in the code for writing the form. Once again.
And once more now that it has inserted the comment and should have its id.
