There is no settings file for the game. The setup has been handled entirely in the preset. So that the customization that someone happens to be using does not overwrite a settings file, a settings file is always loaded without any customizations when you're editing it. When there is no settings file, the default settings are used, and these are for Chess. I suppose I could make an exception to this rule when there is no settings file to overwrite. This would make it easier to convert games stored as presets to settings files.
