Pawns always move diagonally, whether capturing or not.[All Comments] [Add Comment or Rating]JT K wrote on 2017-09-13 UTCI forgot to ask: can a pawn's first move be two diagonal squares? If so, is en-passant capturing still allowed? i.e. Let's say there's a White pawn at e5 and a Black pawn at e7... the Black pawn moves to g5. Can I assume the White pawn could capture it immediately on f6?
