Betza never has implemented any of the five leaping compounds mentioned in all his 150 CVs separate from D.A.K. Betza links Augmented Knights here, and there are never even Gnus(Knight + Camel) explicitly, though he was perfectly aware of Wildebeest. However, 'L' for Long Knight represents Camel augmentation potential. Also, Betza's Mushroom does have one Camel directional modality. In general, Betza was not interested in leapers beyond Alfil, Dabbabah, and Knight, oblique even less so. Augmented Chess as well does not include Zebra or Camel enhancement, so the five compounds just do not fit into Betzan Buypoint thinking. The year 1995 of Buypoint, Bison had just first appeared in a cv Falcon Chess as leaping alternative the same 1990s, and what we call Buffalo from problemists has two examples under different names 'ECV'(1994), one the Cavalry Chess Knight. Omega Chess was not yet cobbled together so there could be no Omega Chess ''Wizard'' in original Buypoint, that same Ferz-Camel compound occurring before a few times in the 'Encyclopedia'. Slip Rook is p-t Betza would approve, having affinity with his inventions Rhino, Double-Rhino and Mirror-Rhino and use of Crooked Bishop.
