Also, it won't work well with Game Courier's ability to let players enter moves with the mouse. I prefer a behind-the-scenes solution that just lets players move pieces with the mouse. It might work like this. When a piece moves, note every Chieftain that could have activated its move. Compare each move with prior moves in the same turn, making sure that there are no conflicts. When there is a conflict, complain that the move is illegal.
