But drawing a 12x12 board has its limitations. Unless you can fold it, it will be less portable. If a game's board is not rectangular, it becomes harder to use your 12x12 board. Although you might find it easier to draw a 12x12 board than to cut up some floppyboards, and I don't see how it is especially easier, it would not be easier to use the board when playing a game. It would seem easier by far to use a board that exactly matches the dimensions and shape of the game being played. Even if this is not your preference, calling articles on making boards useless has no more merit than a lazy person calling books on exercise useless.
