I was able to include all the conditions, including the mandatory capture of the threatened King and the final checkmate condition. I did notice a nice stalemate position. If a King which has been captured can only be returned to the field via a threatened piece which is its last option(for example, the Queen), it appears to be stalemate. Since placing the now solitary King on the field at this position would put it in check. This implementation has been posted to Zillions and should appear at their site this weekend.
