I find most 3d chess variants too complicated, I simply was trying to make gameplay easier. I am (like I said before) working on - my new version (not posted yet) has got 48 pieces, that is 15% (still too low) and it has got the mace, the mace-bishop, mace-rook and the rook-bishop.

Don't you mean nightrider? In that case, a nightrider is a piece that moves as a knight and can repeat the previous move as long as every passed-by squere is empty. (ex.: a nightrider on b1 could move to c3 and then continue to d5 (if c3 was empty) and then to e7 (if d5 was empty). If it captures a piece, it must stop.

1. No, promoted elephant and knight cannot promote further. 2. I think knight and camel have same value or the camel is stronger. The reason for knights promoting to camels is their movement, knights are (2,1) jumpers and camels (3,1) jumpers. 3. I must have been sleeping when I wrote this. I'll upload the page as soon as possible. En passant is NOT in this game. :/ 4. As in shogi, you can't mate with a dropped pawn. I'll include this when I upload the page.
