Piececlopedia: Chameleon
Historical notes
The chameleon is a piece, used in some fairy chess problems. This chameleon
differs from chameleon from Abbot's game Ultima.
Movement
The chameleon changes in another type of piece after completing a move,
in the sequence Queen, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen, ... I.e., a
chameleon first moves as a queen, when it has moved as queen, it can
move the next time as a knight, then after it has moves as a knight, it
can move as a bishop, etc.
Information taken from FIDE Album 1989-1991 (a book with a selection of
chess problems.)
