News Item: Superchess in Corus Chess tournament

January 24, 2004, a seven round Swiss tournament of Superchess will be held as part of the Corus Chess tournament in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands.

The Corus Chess tournament is most well known because of its grandmaster tournaments, but it also hosts other types of events, like rapid chess tournaments. For the first time, the tournament also features a chess variant, namely Superchess. For more information, see www.coruschess.com.
