The CirSquare II game board was developed mainly for two players for Round Table Chess played with the Archers and Catapults or with 4 Knights and 4 Bishops per player. The board is has more squares-144 instead of 92. This gives more room to maneuver the additional chess pieces. I prefer the third and fourth set of chess piece arrangements shown below.
The Rules are the same as for playing Round Table Chess on the CirSquare I board except:
Pawns
12 Pawns per player are used. On any move, a Pawn can advance 1 or 2 spaces. When capturing, a Pawn can only move 1 space diagonally.
