How about these?

I think if you look closer at the image beside the description you will see that the star has 8 points.  But four of them are heavier than the other four.  It seems like we could benefit from a better elephant-guard graphic so I'll see what I can do.

This page is using two different images for the Guard. Neither one fully corresponds to how the piece moves. The one in the diagram suggests movement as a King but not as an Alfil. The one beside the description suggests movement as an Alfil or Wazir, but not as a Ferz.

OK, thanks!

Sure thing.  Here you go:

/play/pbm/play.php?game%3DNinja+Chess%26settings%3Dgreg

You won't find it on the related menu because this isn't intended to be an official preset.  Just something I threw together (although you're certainly welcome to use it.)  And thanks for letting me know that I forgot to check the Exclude Pieces not in Setup box!

P.S.  Any time you want to use a preset from an existing game, you can just open that game and click the Menu button.

Greg: Could you please to post here the URL of the preset? It is not available from the "Related" menu and I would like to invite sxg to playtest his invention. Also please check the preset's "Exclude Pieces not in Setup" box. Thanks!

As I understand it, the Ninja can only move like a King if it is not making 2+ captures.  Is that correct?

This is certainly an interesting concept.  I am interested to try it out, so I've posted a Game Courier invitation.
