[Four years since Gridlock V's last giddy comment, so may as well repeat it.] Chapter Five of the series furthers the Jump Gate and presents the Great Diagonal Wall. ''With effective use of your Ruins, you can fortify holdings, control corners, and block off passage through the [gold] Outer Row.'' Pivot points within the Ruins and Gridlock's castle. ''The other game promised you up to nine Queens. Did it ever deliver? Knights of course can just jump right over but not on a locked Four Way.'' Stashes of big stars in certain places form the pivot of the jump gate, the only triggered castle function. Starting the timer would start the cold war, so instead put your pieces strategically to build it your way.
