This chessset was bought at `Gouden Handen', an art-craft exhibition in the Netherlands. The set, made from wood, was made in Poland. On the photo's, you see the set, Hans Bodlaender, his daughter Annefleur Bodlaender just learning to play chess, and his mother M.K. Bodlaender-Groote.

You can click on the images to see them in larger size. There is also an index to more images of usual and unorthodox chess sets.

Written and photo's by Hans Bodlaender, and M.K. Bodlaender-Groote. The photo's are made with a Kodak DC-20 camera, donated by David Howe.
