| 24 Jan 2002 | Excellent | About pawn's promotion: the rule is clear aout it but at home it is difficult to overcome the problem. For example: How do you solve to have 2 white queens on the board after the promotion? Thank you, Jorge. |

| 14 Oct 2001 | None | I have already sent you an abusive language online player called tomahawk68. What defense can I use to muzzle, mute, or stop him from online communicating with me, when I refused to play him? Please reply to my options. |

| 22 Jun 2001 | None | In regard to Jose Fernandez' question, your friend was perfectly right to take back the move. In fact, he was required to. It is illegal to move the King into check, and what you must do when you make an illegal move is take it back and recontinue the game. The game is not won by capturing the King, for the King is never captured in Chess. Chess is won by checkmating the King. |
| 21 Jun 2001 | Good | I have used the "The F.I.D.E Laws Of Chess" several times to clear up an argument while playing chess. I don't have a chess dictionary to refer too, and I am thankful that I have the "The F.I.D.E Laws Of Chess" bookmarked for quick and easy reference. Thanks for being there... Dale Faith |
| 2 Dec 2000 | Good | if there are 2 kings and one queens if the opposing king can't parry without being put back into check by the queen. is it a stalemate or a checkmate?...please respond to (email removed contact us for address) .com |

| 1 Oct 2000 | None | The 3 links at the start of the page, supposedly to other listings of the laws of chess, are broken links. |
| 14 Sep 2000 | None | CAN I PLEASE GET SOME HELP ON A QUESTION? I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING RELATED TO MY PROBLEM. WHITE MOVES KNIGHT TO ANOTHER SQUARE AND LEAVES HIS KING FACING BLACK ROOK FIVE SQUARES AWAY. SO, WHITE PUTS HIS KING IN CHECK. WHITE SAYS HE DID NOT SEE BLACK ROOK SO HE TAKES PLAY BACK. CAN YOU DO THAT? BLACK ROOK WOULD CAPTURE WHITE KING IN NEXT MOVE. THAT DOES NOT SEEM RIGHT THAT YOU CAN TAKE A MOVE BACK. HE DID NOT EVEN NOW THAT UNTIL I CAPTURED KING. ??????? THANK YOU, JOSE A. FERNANDEZ. |
| 6 Sep 2000 | Excellent | I'm so proud to have been able to read your rules display. It clarifies the rules so much, and verifies rules that I long knew, but did not know how to prove to others. Thanks, Enthusiast!! |
