| 16 Jul 2001 | Good | I just received a Tridimensional Chess set (Franklin Mint) from a seller on eBay. I've read that there's been difference in opinions on the rules. The rules that came with the set are different then you have here. Mainly, the starting position. As shown here: ----- ----- |R|Q| |K|R| ------------- |P|P|B|B|P|P| ------------- |P|P|P|P| --------- | | | | | --------- | | | | | --------- | | | | | --------- | | | | | --------- |P|P|P|P| ------------- |P|P|B|B|P|P| ------------- |R|Q| |K|R| ----- ----- You'll note the Knights are under the attack board's Pawn. Other then that and the fact that they use a different notation in the their rules, the game seems the same. Their notation is a long form, instead of algebraic. Britt |
