Hexichess is a three dimensional hexagonal chess variant: three boards, each containing 25 hexagons are on top of each other.

On this webpage, you can see a photo of a beautifull set, made of glass; download a DOS program that plays the game, and read how one can order one of these expensive but good-looking sets.

Note: this site seems to be inactive (as of September 2001). We've been advised that the contact email address does not seem to work, and the game download doesn't work either. However we advise people to keep checking to see if the site becomes active again.
